Smart Area Match is for mobile mechanics. It offers new customers the days you're already working near them, so your jobs stay close together.

First, choose how close counts as nearby. Go to Settings, open Services and Bookings, then the Booking tab. It works with either booking type, whether customers pick one slot or three preferred times. Under Smart Area Match radius, set the distance that counts as nearby, in miles, and save. It's measured in a straight line, not by road.

When a customer books on your booking page, they choose a service, then tell you where the car will be.

If you've a confirmed job within your radius, on a day with a free slot, the booking page suggests it. Your customer can book that slot in one tap, or see other times. When there's nothing nearby, they just see your normal calendar.

Back in your calendar, open Pending bookings and choose the request. Under the date and time, a small Smart Area Match note tells you the customer was offered a nearby slot, and took it.

If they chose another time instead, the note says they turned it down, and which slot they were offered. Either way, approve it, or suggest a different time, as usual. So Smart Area Match helps you cluster each day's jobs, and cut your overall travel time.
